Description
A delightfully smooth, soft and silky tawny port from Taylor's, aged for 20 years in oak before bottling. Medium-bodied and silkily-textured, but rich and complex in flavour.
Tasting notes
A magnificent and finely-balanced tawny of outstanding richness and complexity. The additional years of ageing produce a fine balance between the rich, raisiny fruit and the nutty, honeyed finish - a taste to linger over.
Food match
The 20-Year-Old is excellent with crème brûlée, honey and almond cake and cheeses such as Parmesan and Manchego. Serve it in place of a Sauternes or Gewurztraminer with a delicate foie gras and brioche. The acidity of the 20 Year Old cuts perfectly through the richness of the paté.
