Description
Fabelhaft means both ‘fabulous’ and ‘containing fables.’ The label is of a German fable in which a pair of ducks fight over a frog for dinner, only to be captured by a chef themselves. The wine is a blend of all the different estate vineyards to showcase this part of the Mosel. 
Tasting notes
Fruity-fresh Riesling with a very fabulous drinking flow, produced by Dirk Niepoort together with his son Daniel and Philipp Kettern. Well balanced on the palate with harmoniously integrated acidity and a subtle sweetness. Appears in the glass with a color tending to greenish-yellow. Typical Riesling aromas of apples and peaches on the nose. Aromatic, medium-long aftertaste in which fruit notes are again in the foreground. A Moselle Riesling in the old tradition, interpreted in a modern way.
Food match
Goes well with: white poultry, Asian-inspired cuisine, Mediterranean salads - or simply chilled as an invigorating aperitif and as a white wine for those moments when you feel like a good glass of white wine.
