| The basis for the balanced Sangre de Toro Original from Catalonia are grapes from the grape varieties Cariñena and Garnacha. In Catalonia, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of clay and limestone. After the manual harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in small wood at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, Sangre de Toro Original is aged for 6 months in French and American oak barrels. |
