| Pale straw in colour, the nose of Macallan 12 Year Old Fine Oak Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky brings hints of fruit and heather honey, oaky notes, spiced butterscotch, and a healthy dose of treacle. On the palate, it’s medium-bodied, a nice balance of dried fruits, oak, and spice, with hints of caramel, honey, and vanilla. A slight trace of smoke may be there as well. The finish is long and lingering, with more dried fruits, earthy and sweet, leading into oak and plenty of spice. |
