A beautifully perfumed, fruity, full flavoured and well rounded Tuscan red. This is the baby brother of the Super Tuscan Ornellaia and is nicely scented with a rounded, plump body, glossy fruit and warming, spicy palate. It was aged for 10 months partly in oak barriques and partly in cement tanks with the aim of obtaining a good balance between tannic structure and expressive fresh fruit. It's nicely dry in the mouth, but with a real generosity of flavour and a long and satisfying finish. A slick and really tasty wine that remains true to its Tuscan heritage. |

| Dark purple hue, a bouquet of subtle toasted aromas, chocolate and tobacco scents, dominated by ripe black fruit notes, soft tannins on the palate, ample and juicy fruitiness, hints of plum, strawberry and blackcurrant, a medium body with a long aromatic finish. |
