Masia d’Or hails from the Alt Penedès region of Spain, tucked in the autonomous region of Catalonia, near Barcelona. This region is widely considered one of Spain’s best wine producing regions and is one of Europe’s most ancient wine producing areas, known especially for its Cavas.
The family has a long history of wine growing. Today the younger generation of Bergers – the Virgili brothers – are hard at work refocusing the winery to create wines that will excite other young people to love wine as much as they do.
