There are intense aromas of plum and bramble fruits and the palate is complex with ripe dark fruits, spice and supple tannins. Ripasso is made by enriching traditional Valpolicella wine with the dried grapes used for Amarone, which leads to a smooth, rich wine with a touch of opulence, without being overpowering.
